2011/2012 Programs Committee
Signing up for the Programs Committee will give you the opportunity to connect with great speakers and make SMPS one of the most viable organizations in the industry. Responsibilities include:
- Referring speakers and forum topics to the chair.
- Calling on suggested speakers and arranging for panel speakers.
- Helping to coordinate the Holiday Luncheon.

2011/2012 Treasury and Sponsorship Committee
Signing up for the Treasury and Sponsorship Committee will give you the opportunity to ensure the financial health of our chapter. Responsibilities include:
- Help greet and sign in members at the lunches.
- Help make calls and communicate the benefits of sponsorship to potential sponsoring companies.

2011/2012 Audit Committee
Signing up for the Audit Committee will you the opportunity to ensure the financial health of our chapter. Responsibilities include:
- Working with the Treasurer and the President at the end of the fiscal year (fiscal year is September 1 through August 31) to perform and audit.

Signing up for the Communications Committee will give you the opportunity to help make our website exciting and interactive and get our chapter noticed! Responsibilities include:
- Working on our Wordpress site to add new features.
- Posting photos of chapter events on the website or flickr page.
- Submitting PR to local media and social media.
- Assisting with inner chapter communications.

If there is something you wish to learn to help move you to the top of your career, sign up for the Education Committee and help guide this year’s programs. Responsibilities include:
- Suggesting education programs or topics to the chair.
- Arranging for presenters to speak at special educational events.
- Organizing webinars.
- Set up CPSM study groups and arrange for members to take the exam.

If you are looking for an even larger group to network with, sign up for our Membership Committee and help us grow our membership! Responsibilities include:
- Welcoming guests and new members at events.
- Helping to plan and organize social events.
- Design an attractive marketing promotion to be mailed to potential new members.
- Help to organize a charity event.

2011/2012 Nominations and Elections Committee
Signing up for the Nominations and Elections Committee will give you the opportunity to shape the future of our chapter and help ensure its longevity. You must have been a member of the chapter for at least one year in order to be on this committee. Responsibilities include:
- Referring candidates for the various board positions for the upcoiming year to the chair.
- Helping the chair with sending out a ballot and counting the votes.
